Eko Backen is located less than twenty-five minutes northeast of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area, six miles east of Forest Lake.

Take Interstate 35E or 35W north to the Highway 97 exit which is just south of Forest lake. Follow Highway 97 east for 6 miles to the four way stop at the junction of Manning Trail/County Road 15 and Highway 97. At junction take a left and follow Manning Trail/County Road 15 north for 1 and 1/2 miles to Eko Backen.
